In eastern Zimbabwe, 26 community gardens have received a boost just in time for the 2011/12 rainy season.
Thanks to proceeds received from the
3rd annual A Harvest of Hope, maize seed and fertilizer have been provide
to help better fill the needs of families affected by HIV/AIDs, child headed households, and the elderly in these villages.
ASAP Africa has been implementing
Village Savings & Lending rural micro-finance project in here since 2001,
which makes it possible to distribute these items efficiently and transparently.
